copper wire, electromagnets, 11m(h)×8m(w) 2015, University Hall, Kyoto City University of Art
Magneto-cosmos was an installation art work, consists with the Magnetic Helmet (2011) and the Magnetic suit (2011). The 74 electromagnets of the Magnetic Helmet were connected with 148 lengths of 1000 centimeter long copper wires, which were hung from the hall ceiling. The concentrated magnetic fields produced by the Magnetic Helmet stimulate the brain of the participant, and an electric current through the wires creates might deform the magnetic fields inside the hall. Magnetic suit covers the whole body magnetically, and has six thousand magnets attached to it.
